Helping churches reach their communities

Some of our trainers reveal how Peaced Together has helped their churches, benefiting women in the church as well as giving them a new way to connect with people in local communities.

“Peaced Together has provided a stepping stone for our church to reach into the lives of the
vulnerable women within our surrounding communities. It has enabled us to empower and equip
them to make confident steps and informed choices to create positive change in their lives.”

Lynda Heron, Ministries Director, Elim Church Northampton

“I thought I was pretty much knotted back together but as I walk alongside the women on the
course I have found I am on the journey with them and that every woman in my church would
benefit from Peaced Together.”

Allison McMillan, Volunteer, Willowfield Parish Community Association, Belfast

“Friendships have been strengthened and women encouraged. The fringe of the church has been
extended. Creativity has blossomed. We’ve also had the privilege of reaching out into the wider
Croydon community supporting women across the borough to find strength and hope despite
their current challenging circumstances.”
